Here's what most headlines won't reveal. The earthquake exposed a crisis that already existed. Without safe water, disease spreads quickly, wounds become infected, and people’s lives are in jeopardy. Safe water is one of the most effective ways to save lives after a disaster. But providing safe water is only our start!

The Church Is the First Responder

Our team arrives this week with water purification units and hypochlorous acid (HOCI) wound care solution. Collaboration includes mobilizing a network of 230 Churches across Venezuela that are showing up and opening doors in amazing ways.

They are preparing meals, caring for children, praying with grieving families, encouraging exhausted communities, and sharing the hope of Christ.

New Life International is equipping these churches with:

  • Safe water purification systems
  • HOCl wound care and infection prevention
  • Emergency health resources
  • Support for feeding kitchens and places of refuge

Every water system becomes a ministry platform. Every church becomes a place of hope that leads to greater hope for all affected.
