Progress Continues in Ecuador

The early seeds of what eventually became New Life were planted in Ecuador by Byron and Yvonne McGuire decades ago. For the last year, New Life International has been eager to see the legacy of the McGuire family live on through a special opportunity in parts of the Amazon Basin located in Ecuador. Through a partnership with Clever Mashiant, a leader of the Shuar tribe, NLI made connections with people in some of the most remote parts of the world.

The initial phase is to install 12 water purification systems in this region with the goal of 150 others bringing safe water to hundreds of thousands of people. While the pandemic has slowed the process, it has also allowed the team to adequately overcome enormous geographical and logistical challenges that come with working in remote locations. Despite these challenges, a tenacious spirit has resulted in significant progress for this project. To date, five of the sent systems have been installed! A special thank you to all who support this major project. Due to the lack of infrastructure, more accessories and equipment are needed which increases the financial burden. Your support is more critical than ever as activity ramps up. We appreciate your continued generosity as we pursue the dream God has planted in our hearts.
