New Life International announces the launch of its cutting-edge Innovation Center. This new endeavor will serve as the official home to the ministry’s solutions advancement and engineering efforts. Through the Innovation Center, NLI will accelerate the development of new technologies that “bring safe water and the Gospel of Jesus Christ” to even more people around the world.

“Our goal is to continue the development of our flagship purifier that has been delivered to over 80 countries worldwide since 1998 while introducing exciting new solutions that improve the physical and spiritual wellbeing of those we serve,” Duvon McGuire, President of New Life International, said. NLI has deployed over 4,000 water purification systems since the original was invented nearly 25 years ago.

The Innovation Center is currently developing a variety of new solutions with an ambitious goal of debuting five new technologies in a single year. These groundbreaking solutions will assist schools, orphanages, clinics, hospitals, and remote communities around the world that have never had safe water. One project fully automates water purification for village, campus, or hospital contexts while another makes wound healing solutions and powerful disinfectants. Also, the Center is producing technology that scales water purification to over a million gallons of treated water per day.

During the research and development phases of these new solutions, our team has already witnessed the positive life changes safe water and healthcare resources can bring to the people who need them most.

All new technologies produced through the NLI Innovation Center will prioritize evangelism and serve as a tool for Gospel sharing. For instance, by connecting to a local hotspot embedded in one of the new technologies, users will be able to access the Bible in dozens of languages as well as multimedia that brings the text to life without the need for Internet access.

Our hope is that these new resources work hand-in-hand with safe water technology to reach those who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus Christ.
